SD40.com has a new look. But it's what's "under the hood" that is the real story behind the changes at SD40.com.

The site has been re-designed from the ground up to take advantage of the tremendous flexibility afforded by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS has been around for a while, but not until now have I ever used them on my site. When I changed my Web hosting provider to Hurricane Electric around the beginning of 2008, I decided to start with a clean sheet of paper and design my site with CSS and XHTML. Embracing standards is always a good thing, and I have been learning a lot about CSS and XHTML as I build this site.

Things will continue to chage with this site as I learn even more about CSS and XHTML. I'll also be applying PHP and JavaScript to this site as I learn more about the use of these powerful tools. Want to learn more? Visit my page, "About SD40.com" by clicking on the link in the Navigation sidebar to the left. There you will find out about the history of my little home on the Web, as well as what is behind the pages you see now, and what the future holds for SD40.com.

Please note, some pages are still under construction. At some point, I will be adding an informational area that shows the most recently updated pages. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Please feel free to have a look around and thank your for visiting!
